What we have is - mailing to an opt-in list of clients, subscribers and those who have agreed to receive our mailers, together with an option for the recipient to ask to be unsubscribed from our list..  Singapore-Business.com mailing policy is in line with the Spam Control Act of Singapore and the interesting part is that we have this guideline already in place since our inception in 1997. 

(Incidentally, Singapore has adopted the "Can Spam" policy, subject to some conditions, which are similar to those in use in the USA, Japan, South Korea and Australia.)

In addition, we have a privacy policy on all email in our database. We do not sell them to any third parties. For this reason, we are able to manage the databases of some of our clients during mass email campaigns. The email databases of our partners are also managed by us based on the principle of mutual benefits. For instance, we have six thousand email addresses and one of our partners had two thousand email addresses. Combined there would be eight thousand email addresses and as we all know responses to mail campaigns are number dependent. We look forward to managing more email addresses databases to ensure a better return for all our advertisers.

We have recognized the need for long term advertising efforts. Hence we have two different way to deliver your advertisement - as a single (or Solo) advertisement, or as part of a several advertisers (Multi-Ad).

COST OF MARKETING

The table below sets out a rough comparison of costs involved in bringing the products and services to the attention of end-users. As can be seen, email mass mailers would be the most cost-effective form of advertising. It is also the most direct form of marketing, with the email addresses leading right to the potential enduser.

In our case, we provide a database of opt-in email addresses which have new signup all the time. We provide two options - either as a fixed date broadcast (Multi Advert, S$60) or an adhoc date broadcast (Solo Advert, S$150 for 5000 email addresses).*
